Updates and Photo Spam...

ok So 1.  I am married now (its been almost a month.. I know and I am just updating)

The wedding was very small (under 20 people how we wanted it) and very personalized but still had almost all of the traditional pieces; the vows, the ring exchange, unity candle... but we also added a celtic wedding blessing.. and some other aspects of us.  

Most importantly Mr. Shamus and my grandmother was able attended! We were not entirely sure as it was sooo hot and humid that day! But everyone made it all fine! and the ceremony was not too long only about 20- 30 min and beautiful.

2. I am thinking about not keeping my wow account constant.

With all the recent additions/changes I just do not see myself playing on a regularly weekly basis.. I am lucky if I can get on saturdays... So I guess I can pay 'as I go' If I reallllly want to play then pay for a month.... but if not.. let it freeze.. So sad.. but nessecary...

That and there are SOOOO many free games on Steam.. I am playing spiral Knights and some free fps game.. and then champions online is free and lotr.. soo if i need an mmo fix.. I may go back to my hobbit on lotr.. but I am in love with my priestie Jezi on wow :(

3.  I may have a job teaching online (I should find out soon) 

4.  We get to move to the big apt! 

I am so excited!!! the Baby will have his very own room!

5.    YES! We are having a baby boy!

Both Mike and I are pretty short..  oh well! He will be taller than us by Middle School!

Gold and Time

So i have come to the realization that I just do not have enough time! In Rl which leads to game time.. I love WoW and several other games; aoin, sims, lotro.. but I just do not feel like lately I have the time for anything! Its sad as my poor main toon has only about 500g... everyone else it seems has thousands!  Of course I attribute this problem to my RL spending habits and the time factor.  I just cant seem to ever get far enough ahead to really get something 'big.'  There is always something needed... a new level of professions.. a new skill level to fly etc etc etc.  Just how am I to collect all the pets! lol

I have been trying to find time lately for gaming.. it has just been a no go... not only are we getting married and having a baby (Due date early to mid Jan 2012).. but we are also switching apts... and remodeling it.... I also work and go to school..... and then not to mention my extra activities... Sensation Magazine.. exercising.. and alll the other fun stuff! Now don't get me wrong I love my life... but why does it have to be so busy! I need to get my WoW fishing up so I can get those pets and the turtle! GRR lol

My WOW MODS!!!!!

So Mike.... has been using *my* laptop to play wow, as his does that weird minimize thing during play.. which is fine.. other than my big computer (which is much better than the laptop) is in the living room.. normally this would not be a problem.. but it happens to be summer.. and it is HOT.. and if you have not guessed.. I am preggers... about 14 weeks...  Our living room does not have AC... there is no way in hell I am sitting out there!

So I have been quite and nice... as his 'game time' is how he relaxes... and it has been uber stressful here... fast pace wedding plans, apt hopping/remodeling... family over every day.. school.. and well a preggers lady.. So I have been working on my sim magazine articles without photos first.. and forum trolling... Mike is currently sleeping in.. He was probably up until the sun broke playing his little Mage.. So I decided since he is sleeping I could play some wow.. ohhh no no no.. HE DELETED ALL MY WOW MODS!!!! OMFG! problem #1 i am a fricken healer.. hello healbot is my left nut! problem #2 I have a ton of mods... so now instead of being able to enjoy myself and play I am going to spend about 2 hours setting them up to the most efficient way for me to play AGAIN!

And rather than waking him up.. I am letting him sleep... and I already put a dvdr for him to make a back up disk for his laptop.. (the way he has stated he would fix it about 500 times.. ) 

and Yes that is the comp's current Background.. and yes.. I am putting it on all the computers we have!

Update... in WoW

I jumped server ship.. there where some minor aesthetics.. in the current guild.. thou who shall not be named.. That I was getting really annoyed with.. Everyone else there was rocking but 1 person.. I do not do the racists/sexist comments at all.. Its my 14.99 a month + transfer.. I should have fun right? If your not 80% happy then why are you playing.. That's what I asked myself and came to the conclusion I needed an older and non racist crowd.   So I transferred to a friend from work's server.. Have not know her very long..  but she is really nice and the group sounded more to fit me. Not to mention the guild name.. 'Delicious Cake.'

OMFG really? that sold me right there..  muffin t-bad HOOOOOO!  So far everyone is really nice.. sounds like they have been around for awhile so it may take me a bit more to warm up to them..  Raid times fit my schedule much better and I am getting to try some new things ie 25 mans That just would not have been realistically feasible in my privi guild mostly due to the server numbers. When I transferred the first thing I noticed was people EVERYWHERE!  I must have been on a dead Horde server!

First Issue of Teen Sensation is coming out very soon... Issue 6 of Sensation Magazine has my model Alita on the cover :D  I am so far behind on my articles it is not even funny...

Update School

Still chugging away.. I have my final paper due friday.. and I am 70% done with it.. Which is Pretty good for me lol..  I usually wait till the last minute!

Blog Challenge: Day 1

So I have been inspired by Saga @ http://spellbound.nu/, and countless other blogs to challenge

myself to improve my blogging consistency.   

So I am challenging myself to go everyday until i fail!

I will start out small.. aiming at 10 days in a row.  

Day 1: About 'Jezi'

My real name is Melissa, but I only go by Mel.  Jezi is short for my WoW raiding priest Jezibell.

I am 28 years old, and a counseling graduate/doctoral student.  I should have my LPC in approximately 2.5 years (10 quarters). But I plan to push on until I get my Phd. :D I live with my fantabulous boyfriend Mikey, we are very serious..  he is my 'one' :D  He is in school to and going to be either an advanced practice nurse or physician's assistant.  I also live in close proximity to my little brother Ben! Love being in walking distance from him...  so I can go pick him up every time he locks himself out of the house.. My parents and most of my family are also really close (within 20 min) Which is very nice, as I was out of the area for a few years.

I have 2 pets that I love very much;   Shamus (12yr old chow-lab mix) & Edna... the grouch (6 year old Siamese)

Currently I work part time at a recreation center, teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding.  Prior to starting the counseling degree I was a corrections officer.  I worked with both adults and juveniles at one time or another.  

I had the opportunity to work in various capacities; booking, control tower, visitation, and  conducting juvenile educational and life skill building groups. I have worked in aquatics at least part time since I was able to get my Red Cross Cert (age 15) I have managed pools and taught swim lessons since I was 18.   I was a swim team kid and swam for a little bit in college. I did not really have the competitive drive or time to dedicate to a varsity sport. And not to mention it was havoc on my grades.   I am still pretty active and I have just recently started to 'have to work out.' The metabolism is finally slowing down...

Other than all my education and work experiences I play games... LOTS AND LOTS of Games!!!!  The more frequent games I play are; WoW, Sims 3 plants Vs Zombies, and Pokemon. I occasionally play rift, aion, champions online, LOTR, D & D online and various xbox 360 games.  My other hobbies include; blogging, gaming, working out, watching movies, and being silly!

got him a couple of gifts just a teeshirt of something he does frequently..

and some other little items.. 

I would like to actually do something tho..

I am sure dinner will be involved.. but actually go out and do something other than watch a movie...

So I have been sick the last day or so... my brother stayed at my place while he was sick last week.. well and shared... Sharing is not caring...  A little frustrated as when I am sick I can not play wow..

something about the controls and view when I already feel crapy makes me dizzy.  

anyone else have this problem?

I was really impressed with how the community worked together

All of the proceeds from the production went to the firehouse as donations for those in need.  

To watch the show you had to either do a cash donation, donate a unwrapped toy or donate canned goods.

Apparently the production was so packed all four shows this weekend...

that they filled all of the local fire department's donation bins!
